Clinical TrP Massage

Massage with a Purpose fixing pain that offers lasting relief...

Clinical TrP massage works specifically with myofascial trigger points. Using the knowledge of functional anatomy, palpating and thus detecting trigger points are one of the most reliable and effective ways for deactivating trigger points. Clinical TrP Massage addresses pain and injury complaints by making a detailed assessment of musculoskeletal conditions and treatment protocols based on client’s information. Clinical Trigger Point Massage uses gentle sustained pressure to the myofascial tissue to stretch and elongate the fascia and muscle. The massage therapist finds the area of restriction, or the myofascial trigger point, and then applies pressure. As the trigger points are released, the size and sensitivity of the area of tension decreases as treatment progresses. When the tissue releases the therapist will move on to the next area to be released. Clinical Trigger Point Massage has several positive effects including decreased muscle tension and tightness, decreased pain, improved circulation and especially increased mobility.

  • Hot Stones Treatment

With every massage session, the hot stones are used to actually massage the muscles.  The smooth basalt stones are placed in hot water and then used in those sore spots and especially trigger points.  Massaging with hot stones is used to relax the muscles, dissolve tension and stress in the body.   While massage the muscles with the hot stones, the warmth of the stones generates an inner feeling of comfort.

    Hot Stones Treatment
  • Cold Stone Massage

Cold Stones Massage is an alternative to hot stones. Cold stones can be very beneficial in the treatment of inflammation and muscular injury so if the client presents with these kinds of symptoms then cold stones are employed. The cold stones cause the blood vessels to constrict, stimulating the nervous system and drawing blood and waste products through the system and out of the body.
The cold marble stones act as a powerful decongestant when it comes to diffusing swelling. If you have swelling due to sports injuries, or fall or trauma, or even sinus problems, you’d benefit from cold stone massage.
